A lot of weekends are spent at cheer competitions with Brooklyn like it’s my job (because cheer coaching was my job for 12 years). When I slow down, you will usually find me in a big comfy sweatshirt, baking cookies, or curled up watching a good TV series. I love Starbucks runs, treasure hunts through Marshall’s, and heading to the movies for a night out. Lunch dates with friends keep me grounded, and time at home with Shane and the kids is where I feel the most at peace. At the end of the day, I love leaning into the simple moments, from fresh baked cookies to holiday lights, because those are the memories that last.
Cheer Mom Life & Simple Comforts
I find joy in the little rhythms of life. Walking through my neighborhood clears my mind, and I love an Airbnb weekend out in the woods. Some of my favorite times are bbqing with friends on summer nights, catching up with people I love over lunch, or simply being surrounded by good company. Fall is my favorite season with crisp mornings, colorful leaves, and that cozy feeling of slowing down. I love the holidays the most; everything from decorating to the music to making new traditions.

At the center of my world is my family. Shane has been my high school sweetheart since our Richland High days, and together we have built a life that I am so proud of. Our kids are my heart and my biggest motivation. Add in our pups Jade and Sage and our little bun-bun, and you can picture our home. It is always lively and filled with love.
